Air Sealing and Insulation

We provide insulation and air sealing contracting services for existing buildings. Our 30 years of combined experience working with new and existing buildings allows us to pinpoint the scope needed for optimum results and energy savings. We provide weatherization services for MassSave customers and work closely with local Community Action Councils as well as private clients.

Our team at Athena Building Performance, Inc. works with utility programs, affordable housing owners and private clients to provide weatherization services to existing buildings. We are equipped to install blown insulation, including cellulose, fiberglass, sheep's wool and other blown fibers. Our team understands building science and can pinpoint the locations in need of air sealing and insulation measures to optimize building performance for the long term.

Building Testing and Diagnostics

We employ a variety of tools to identify the source of comfort and energy issues. Some of our most popular testing and diagnostic procedures include blower door guided air sealing and infrared scanning.

Training and Consulting

We provide Building Science and Weatherization training for new construction and renovations as well as general consulting for building performance related issues including moisture intrusion, odors and high utility bills. Our staff provides trainings in partnership with Green Jobs Academy.
 

We provide training and general consulting for low and mid rise residential construction.

Training and Workforce Development Providers:
